Rebuild the Temple

Dear fellow supporters of the redemption in Newark.

The sanctuary of Trinity Reformed Church has scaffolding lining the walls and is ready for insulation and sheet rock.  The rebuilding of this leaky 134 year old sanctuary has been a long time coming and now by God’s grace and the many volunteers who have come (and Paul Nulton) we have a water tight roof, and have raised the funds and  purchased all the materials for the final job.

We are now making a plea to anyone who would want to help put in the insulation and sheet rock to come the next two saturdays Oct. 18th, and 25th from 9 am to about 3 pm. Lunch will be provided and we believe if we have 15-20 able bodied workers uniting as in the time of Ezra we can finish this large job and meet our deadline of having this done before Reformation Sunday the 26th.  We are having a large Reformation sunday gathering (last years was nearly 300 people) and it would be impossible with the scaffolding still in place.

Please Respond to Danny Iverson if you can help.

Please forward this to anyone you know who might be able to help.

We know that “the Church” is not a building and God receives glory from his people wherever they are gathered, but we know that this building was built to the Glory of His name by the faithful before us and it is to that end that we strive to restore it and fill it once again with worshipers of Jesus.

Thanks for helping.

For the King and the Kingdom,

Danny Iverson
