10 Great Reasons why there is STILL no Christmas update posted yet…
I know many of you have asked me personally about the different events we had at Christmas and, yes, I am STILL compiling the pictures and getting the update done…But in the meantime, here are some snapshots of what has happened since those events, which, in my humble opinion are some great excuses for why I haven’t typed it up yet…
- After three big events back to back, tired parents still had a bundle of presents to wrap and a Christmas to be celebrated amongst their own crew…
an overflowing closet of presents still to be wrapped. yes, this was Christmas Eve.
Our crew after waiting VERY patiently most of the morning while we finished getting everything together.
All I can say, is this was a miracle tree. Everything wrapped was a result of God’s overwhelming provision for our family.

a sneaky way to get spinach into those hungry mouths…make the eggs into a GREEN Christmas tree!
2.A post-Christmas trip to Grandma’s House (90th Christmas she has celebrated!)
SO blessed to be just two hours from my wonderful Grandmother
3. Family in town
4.The stomach bug in town
5. A cancelled New Years event due to the stomach bug being in town
6. An attack by the neighbor’s pit bull. 8 stitches and a traumatized little boy.
7.Many, many meals prepared.
recruiting help…the vegetarian is cutting the venison…talk about a labor of love..
Keeping this hungry bunch fed is a full time job in an of itself.
8. A kid that gets.into.EVERYTHING.
See that drawer in the background?..gets unloaded…at least six times a day. But who can get mad at someone so cute?!?
9. Prayer and preaching at the State Capital
My man delivered a great message about standing up for the voiceless.
while I desperately tried to keep my little ones voiceless
10. And more recently…scrapping the blogging time slot, in order to do make-you-own-hot-chocolate dates with each of my kiddos (it was so worth it)
